Ann Razonski Photography is Moving

Dear Friends,

My fiance and I recently made a very tough decision to move to Oregon, where Josh is from. Just under two weeks ago, Josh’s brother-in-law (who Josh is quite close to) was diagnosed with an aggressive lymphoma. Due to this and a few other major things going on “back home” we are going to move there to be near his family. Our move-out date is almost too close for comfort (no later than May 17th), but since we are already having the wedding out in Oregon and due to these family issues, it just make sense to do this move sooner than later.

Going to the West Coast will be a total change of pace. Josh has been there for a week visiting his family, and he already seems a bit more calm and collected. I recently heard Oregon described as “God’s Country.” This was by a man who grew up there, and whose life choices made it so he never did quite get back there. Although I have only visited briefly, I tend to agree, and I am hoping that this lifestyle will do me good, body and soul. This is both a very exciting and scary adventure. It’s going to be so tough to leave our friends and my clients behind over here, but we are happy to have the opportunity to move where we planned to (eventually) settle down.

And well… this all means I will be moving my photography business over there too. I do have a wedding that I am photographing in Pennsylvania in September, so I will be back for at least a few days for this. There is a chance I will also be arranging to come back in November for Holiday sessions. I would just LOVE to see all my lovely ladies and their families again. I’ll definitely keep you all posted.

Not only this, but by the time I get settled in to Oregon, I will no longer be Ann Razonski. Instead, I will be Ann Hughes. That’s right. Our wedding, which will be set in the Portland area, is just under one month away. Don’t be surprised if you start to see “Ann Hughes Photography” on my work starting now – I’m beginning the transition a little early, so that I am officially “Ann Hughes Photography” (website will be www.annhughesphotography.com) by the time I get over there.

For those of you who have used my services before, I would be just so honored if you could be my reference for new clients on the West Coast. I don’t want them to think I’m some sort of scam artist, so if you could help me to not look like a crazy person it would be for the best. 🙂

Meanwhile, stay tuned for more pics. I’m going to be posting some “best of” photos, including portraits, weddings and family pictures. I’m just moving… not going away completely!

Sincerely,
Ann
